Need helping filling out mine and my wifes w-4's

So I am needing helping matching mine and my wifes w-4's to get the best outcome, I have filled them out like every other year and they're not holding out any federal taxes. I updated my wifes which she works full time and on step 4c  put down to hold out an additional $76.92 and that is all they are holding out now...... My status has changed from full time position to Part Time and same thing, put in our 2 dependents, etc... and they are not holding out any federal taxes either. But for both of us they hold state taxes out. I'm so confused, did something change this year or what?

Use the Tax Withholding Estimator on the IRS web site to figure out what you and your spouse  should each put on the W-4 forms that you give to your employers. It's much easier than using the worksheets on the form. It will let you adjust your withholding to get the approximate refund amount that you want.

Hi crzy4life83, Checking your W-4 yearly and bi-yearly is a great rule of thumb, especially when your income and situation changes. Using our W4 calculator , can help with determining how you want to fill out your W4s. With state taxes, most states do withhold state taxes. Hope this helps. Thank you for asking.

I know how to fill out a W-4, I've never had any issues like this year, I am filling them out correctly and they are still not holding out any federal other than the extra withholding I added to my wife's w-4. This "chat" "messaging" back and forth is really no help. Talking with someone over phone or video chat would be so much faster and simpler

So far this is the best answer. I appreciate it. And wasn't from an "Expert" 😉 Thank you, I will give that a shot.
