Hello, last year I couldn't get a tax refund because my employer didn't include my SSN number on my w-2 form. This year they sent me a w-2 form again but they sent me 2, one form is the same as last year and it says all my income and expenses, the other form only says my SSN number and doesn't say my income or expenses. How can I apply with these two forms at the same time? Also, when I add my forms to turbotax I get the following error: We're having trouble with your file Here are some common fixes that might help: •Make sure the file you're uploading contains a W-2 form. Can you help me with this?
Since one of the W-2 forms does not report any income or tax withheld, you should ignore that one and not enter it into TurboTax. You should follow these instruction to delete any duplicate W-2 forms listed in your tax file:
1. Choose the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar
2. Choose Tools
3. Choose the Delete a form option under Other Helpful links
4. Find any duplicate W-2 forms listed and delete them
If you are still having problems, delete all of your W-2 form entries and reenter them.

I understand, you are right, but as I said, the company sent me 2 forms, one without my SSN number and the other without any income or expenses declared. Last year, in 2023, I did not receive my tax refund because I did not have my SSN number. Now, I am worried that if I re-file with the form without my SSN number, I will not be able to receive my tax refund again. Is there no way to file with both forms? @ThomasM125
