Nanny Tax/Estimated State payment

Hello!  Confusion about Nanny/household employee tax and estimated payments.

- for Federal, we got the 1040ES form for our quarterly tax payments for federal, and were able to input this on the 2022 return

- for state, there was nothing from the company; however, outside of the Arizona unemployment tax (which was accounted for in the step-by-step household employee section) I still made quarterly tax payments as Arizona withholds a small percentage.  I inputed those into my State estimated Tax section, but Arizona rejected it which decreased my return by a few hundred dollars.  Can I not include those payments as estimated ones, or did I just make a mistake in my math?  I figured if it was the latter they would have just adjusted for it.  Thanks for any help!

You are probably going to have to contact the Arizona Department of Revenue directly to get the payments sorted.  Unfortunately, these payments just get lost in their system and not applied correctly but someone should be able to help you.  See Contact Us.
