My wife was self employed and received a W2; statutory employee box is not checked. W2 was added but how do we apply it to the self employment income?

Non-Sequitur. W-2 without Statutory box checked does Not generate or can be linked to any Self-Employment. If she was Self-Employed, income is reported on Schedule C with no relationship to W-2.

I specifically remember there being a place to add income like you are asking. Go back to the area and edit the information (update). Go carefully through each window reading everything. You will see the question you need. Obviously this will be in the "Income" area.

It's possible that you  missed it up front where you were asked if either of you had received a W-2. If you passed up that question or answered it "no", then it skipped the opportunity to ask you to provide that W-2 at the appropriate time.
