My wife received a check for completing a summer time training program, all I have is a check stub. how do I report this?

To clarify, how much was the check/payment?

An employer can reimburse an employee up to 5,250 for education expenses. You might ask the employer if the payment was meant to be treated this way. 

 

If yes, the payment is not taxable and nothing needs to be reported.
