My W-2 has a different address than what the IRS has on file for me, will this be a problem when I efile my federal return? The address the IRS has is still valid.

I know the only delays we've ever had with our refunds have been years following moves to different states and we've received paper checks to our address on file, rather than direct deposit to listed account(s). I was hoping anyone more familiar with this could perhaps shed some light so I know what to expect. Thanks in advance.

This will not cause any problem with filing for your return. The IRS is matching your SSN and name. This will not trigger any delays.
