My W-2 does have a verification code. I contacted my employer and the said they don’t have one. What should I do next?

My W-2 does not have a verification code. I contacted my employer and they said they do not have one. What should I do next?

The verification code on a W-2 is optional. If your W-2 does not have a verification code, just leave that space blank in TurboTax.
