My W-2 box 14 reflects PA_SUI of $53 is it dductible on Schedule A

My W-2 box 14 reflects PA_SUI of $53. I think this is not an income tax, which is outside the $10,000 limit, and therefore, should be entered on Schedule A, line 6. But if I enter the information as it appears on your W-2, the Turbo Tax directed add the $53 with the state income tax on Schedule A, line 5a, which is included in the limit of $10,000. How should I correct this? Should I delete it from W2, and enter it manually to Schedule A line 6?

PA SUI (Pennsylvania State Unemployment Insurance) qualifies for a federal deduction on Schedule A, if you itemize. However, for PA which has a "flat" tax, there is no deduction allowed for taxes paid. TurboTax is handling correctly.

Thanks. But I think you did not understand my question. This is not regarding the PA Tax return, it is regarding the Federal Tax return. I knew that it is qualified for itemized deduction (Schedule A), but I think it should be put on Line 6 instead of on Line 5a of Schedule A

5a is correct, since it is a tax proportionate to earned income.
