My TURBOTAX expert doesn't know what to do with my cashapp .csv file and neither do I

I don't understand the long winded directions people are providing for finding your cost basis for bitcoin sales when the cashapp .csv file won't upload.  It won't upload for the expert and they are hounding me for the basis.  I am a total newb.  IF anyone has any ideas how to help an idiot like myself, I would be forever in your debt.

In order to correctly report your taxable gain/loss from crypto transactions, several pieces of information are needed. One of the is the cost basis of the crypto sold. Basically, the price you paid for the crypto. I suggest the following steps:

1. Download the CSV from your Cash App.

2. Open the spreadsheet and do some cleanup. If under the cost basis/price paid column, you do not have any information, you need to enter it manually. You will probably need to go back to the time when you purchased/received the crypto to get it. Pay attention to the number of coins sold. For example, you bought 4 coins but sold only 1. Enter only the cost basis for 1 coin, not 4.

3. Share the cleaned-up spreadsheet with the TurboTax expert.
