My Turbo Tax account was deactivated for an unknown reason, and no one is able to help me reactivate it to access prior year tax returns. How can I reactivate my account?

My Turbo Tax account was deactivated for an unknown reason, to both my and the agent I spoke to. I need the account reactivated. The only solution I was presented was to complete a form requesting access; however, the form requires you to enter your old email and your new email. My email address has not changed.

You will need to complete Account Recovery to gain access.  If it is asking for an old and new email address and yours has not changed, put the same email address in each box.  See below on how to complete the recovery:

This information is incorrect. You can't supply the same old email address and new email address. The form generates an error that says "The old email address and new email address cannot match. Please update your submission."

Contact TurboTax support if your account has been deactivated.  There is a certain process that has to be done to reactivate the account.

Please create a new email address and use that on the form to request access. Once you are able to get into your account, you may edit your account and change your email address back to the original if you so desire.
