My son lived with me 2 months last year not 12. How do I change it on my taxes

To edit a dependent's information:

• Log in to your return
• Click on Personal Info
• Click Edit beside the dependent you want to change
• Continue past the first two questions
• The third screen asks how many months your child lived with you - you can make your change there.
