"My son is 24, full time student and made $6700 but we support him. It tells me he's not a dependent. Do I enter his 1098-t or does he?" How do I claim housing we pay?

If he was not under the age of 24 on 12/31/2018 then you do not qualify to claim him as a dependent even though he was a full-time student. In this case, he is the one who will report Form 1098-T and claim educational expenses. Unfortunately, there is no way for you to claim the money you paid for his housing this year.
