My schedule C AMT dep ALLOWED/ALLOWABLE is flagging an amount too large but its showing a different amt now than it did while doing my taxes? how can I fix this?

If you're receiving a message that the AMT Depreciation amount is too large, you will need to enter a smaller amount. Look for the AMT Depreciation Report from your prior year return. Total the prior and current depreciation from that report and enter the result in the box provided by the Smart Check message.

 

If you don't have a prior AMT Depreciation report, you can try entering a zero instead. This is acceptable if you aren't subject to AMT (TurboTax will check this at some point during the Federal Taxes interview).
