Save the CSV file to your computer and edit it to this format.   Then choose any of the aggregators listed in the crypto section and upload the CSV from your computer.    You need the following 5 columns, with these headers.

  1. Purchase Date
  2. Date Sold
  3. Proceeds
  4. Cost Basis
  5. Currency Name

What program do I edit it in?

I used Microsoft Excel.  You can use Excel Online if you don't have the program, but when you save the file, save it as a CSV (comma separated values) file, not as an Excel Workbook.

Google Sheets or other spreadsheet programs make work as well.

I seem to not even be able to open it in excel.  It has no file extension at the end of it, and I can't even right-click it to use the "open with button".

I am going to contact Robinhood directly.  You were very kind and helpful, but I think they messed up something beyond regular friendly advice.

Thanks again for helping me,
