My return says self employed, but I'm not. How do I get it back to the regular (cheaper) version?

If you haven't registered your product, you will be able to Clear & Start Over.

  • Go to "My Account"
  • Select "Clear & Start Over"
  • Click Yes when it says "Are you sure you want to clear and start over?".

This will completely start over your return. If you filed Self Employed last year, you'll want to select the option, Choose A Different Product. This will let you select which ever product you're actually needing to file with!
