My pay roll at the second job has only withholding of OASDI, medicare and state w/h MD. Do I need to pay back when I file my tax ?

My pay roll of my first job is always have these withholdings and I always get the tax return.

1/ medicare employee Addl tax

2/ federal withholding

3/ social security employee

4/ medicare employee

5/ MD- withholding

However, my second job only have MD- withholding, OASDI and medicare. Do I need to pay back with this job when I file my tax?

Without knowing all the figures, like your income and deductions, it is not possible to determine whether you will get a refund or have a balance due. 

You are right to be concerned because you only have federal taxes withheld from your first job.  The rest of the withholding is the same.  OASDI is just another name for Social Security.


Just put all your information in TurboTax and the program will figure out your tax situation for both the federal and MD returns.  If you find that you owe taxes on your federal return, contact the payroll office for your second employer to start having federal taxes withheld from your paycheck.
