If you scheduled a direct debit payment, you can verify by accessing a copy of your tax return and the scheduled payment would be located on your State Information Worksheet Part V

If you find that you didn't set up the direct debit to pay the state taxes due. You can then send the check payment. You would also have the option to pay online by visiting the following Michigan Department of Treasury website https://treas-secure.state.mi.us/PayIncomeTax/PayIncomeTax.htm.

Please follow the instructions below to access/print a copy of your complete tax return after filing in TurboTax Online

  • Sign in to your account (if you haven't already done so), using the same login you used to file your return.
  • Scroll down to My Tax Returns and Documents and click show.
  • Next scroll down and select Add a State (you are not really adding a state, this will allow you to get back into the program.
  • In the left side panel select Tax Tools then select Print Center.
  • Next select Print, save or preview this year's return.
  • Then select the option to print 2017 federal and state returns. Also select the option to include government and TurboTax worksheets, then select View or print forms.
  • This will allow you to print your complete tax file.
  • Once you have finished printing, select Tax Home in the left side bar to return to the home page and click Sign Out in the lower left corner when you are ready to exit the program.

First Thanks for your response. So, part V has all the bank info but the Turbo Tax cover page direct me to mail in the paper forms with the check. the forms filed online should take precedent to the Turbo tax cover page instructions, correct?

Your very welcome ! Yes, if the e-filed paperwork is showing a scheduled direct debit for the state taxes due you don't need to mail in the payment voucher and check.
