My last name is spelled wrong on my w-2 and my employer won't correct it. What can i do

I no longer work for that employer and have called him pn this matter several times

It will be okay. The IRS will match the name and Social Security number on your return with the information at the IRS. As long as your correct social is on your W-2, information will match.
