My last day of employment was December 2020. I received a paycheck in 2021 and was sent a 2021 W-2. I now collect disability what do I do?

You need to enter the W2 on your 2021 return. Did you get a SSA-1099 form from Social Security?  You enter that too.

To enter a W2
Click on Wages and Income tab at the top
Then Wages and Salaries
Wages and Salaries – Start (you might have to click on Show More on right)

Enter a SSA-1099, SSA-1099-SM or RRB-1099 under

Federal Taxes on the left side or top

Wages and Income

Then scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security

Then the second line - Social Security (SSA-1099. RRB-1099) - click the Start or Revisit button

File a return if you are (a) required to file and/or (b) want to get a refund of the withholding and/or a refundable credit.

yes I received the SSA-1099. I didn't see an option anywhere to indicate no employment in 2021 and worried it would look like I was lying or trying to hide something.  thank you very much for the clarification
