what do you mean your job is tax-exempt? can you please explain that? why do you think so? what do you do? do you receive a W-2? do you receive a 1099-NEC (Self employed?).
Please provide some details. Why is your job "tax exempt? Or why do you believe it is tax exempt?
If you are working for some sort of charitable organization, that does not make YOUR income tax exempt. Will you receive a W-2 or a 1099NEC?
Will you receive a W-2 for the care giving job?
@bosslady068 Read the link given to you very carefully. You started off asking if you "need to file." You may not owe any tax -- not for the care giving at least -- but the income you received may help you qualify for certain credits like earned income credit or child tax credit, so it is to your advantage to enter that income on a tax return.
