I did choose to pay from my federal return but I believe the charge for it was only $40 when my federal return was supposed to be 480 and only received 360 back
The "refund processing fee" was $39. Remember that you also had to pay for federal and state software.

You must have done a state return too.
Deluxe is $39 for Federal and state is a separate $39. THEN if you want to have the fees deducted from your refund there is another Extra $39 Refund Processing Service charge. $39x3=117 plus sales tax.
