My iowa track refund is saying The processing of your return requires additional time for review. The Department will contact you if additional information is needed?

I am trying to figure out if there is a error or if it’s because I claimed a child tax credit.

TurboTax gets no information from the state after you file your tax return. Only the state can explain why your refund is delayed or under review.
