My Ameritrade account was transferred to Charles Schwab. I made approximately 200 trades to aggregate a small loss (<$2,000), and my Turbotax is locked on "NEEDS REVIEW." The amount of loss is calculated to be correct, I estimate. I set ETF trades as ETF and stock trades as normal stock. How do I complete the review sufficiently so that this checks off correctly and I can file my taxes?
There was an update last night that MAY have solved your issue. Make sure you have the most updated software and try again.
Unfortunatle, this does not help. I am using the online, web-based version and I see no changes. The section of imported trades is still locked in "NEEDS REVIEW."
You could summarize those transactions in TurboTax, and delete the imported transactions that need review, since it would be a daunting to edit 200 transactions.
Here's How to Enter a Summary in Lieu of Individual Transactions.
Or, in TurboTax Online, you can attach a PDF file your transactions, by selecting Summary and Continue until you get a screen to attach/drop file in.
