My income is less than 400% of the federal poverty level. Why is my heath insurance assistance repayment not capped at $3,000 in the Turbo Tax application?

The cap is in place for household income, not individual income.  Is it possible there are any other members of your household who have earnings reflected on your return?

Since we can't see your return in this forum, you can view the TurboTax calculations for the Premium Tax Credit  on Form 8962.

If you're using TurboTax Online, you'll need to View or Print your return to see the form.  In TurboTax Desktop, go to FORMS.

Or, here are the Form 8962 Form and Instructions from the IRS.
