My husband and I receive SSDI. We did not exceed the benefit amt of 32K. I received a 1099-INT and a 1098. Do I need to file and show this interest information?

You do not need to file as none of your SSI income will be taxable income due to amount of other income you have (approx. $50 plus).

May I ask the amount on your 1099-INT?

Sure...$56.00.  Perhaps I should have worded my question differently.  Do I have to file taxes just to show the $56 amount?  If no, do I even need to file my taxes?
