My grandma passed way 3/1/25. She didn’t file her 21,22,23, And of course this years tax return. So do I just file them like I works a normal tax return?

She never would get a refund, always had to pay. My uncle was appointed her personal representative because she didn’t have a will/trust.

Your uncle will need to file her taxes since he was appointed her personal representative.

Your uncle will use the taxpayer's Social Security number, not his when he file taxes for a deceased taxpayer.  For more information, refer to the TurboTax article regarding filing a final tax return and the IRS article File the Final Income Tax Returns of a Deceased Person.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Thank you. This might be a dumb question, but well obviously be filling all of her pepper taxes returns and 2024 online, but my stepdad usually helps us with filing taxes, so could he put in all the information while my uncle is next to him and then my uncle would just sign the return? If that makes sense..

IRS will probably require certain forms which means filing a paper tax return for the decedent.

the signature line is "<my name> as personal representative"
