My final return is showing estimated payments to make for next years return but I never selected that. Is that automatically in the return but you dont have to make them?

Yes, if you had the penalty for underpayment of estimated taxes, TurboTax creates the estimated payment coupons. so that you can avoid the penalty next year/  You do not have to use them, especially if the additional income was a one-off event or you have additional wage withholding.
