My final 1040 shows I owe $116 but when I requested to file an extension because I am waiting on a K-1, the $116 went away and it shows I owe nothing on the 15th. Why?

If you clicked the Amend button, your refund would have dropped to zero.

To file an extension, click on File an Extension in the lower left-hand corner.
