My file is hung up . I keep getting back to a file that says : 1040/1040SR Wk: Recipient's SSN should not be the same as the taxpayers SNN I am not able to file.

It seems like you might have entered your social security number in a place where it should not be, like as an employer tax id, or a payer's tax id.  You should go back through your return and check any forms that you entered, like any W2s or 1099s, to see if any have your social security number entered in the wrong spot. 

To go back and check any income forms that you entered:

1. Log in to your tax return
2. Go to Wages & Income
3. Review your entries on the forms you have entered
