My employer gave me 5 w-2s. Only one is fully filled out and the rest only have boxes 18-20 filled out. How do i file these without them being flagged as duplicates?

Boxes 18-20 of the W-2 are local taxes and wages.  Some states make extensive use of county taxes, local taxes and/or school system taxes reported in these boxes.

 

Do not lump different kinds of  taxes together.  You may lump the same tax together.

 

Report only one W-2 but select Add another locality to report additional lines of local taxes paid.
