My Edward Jones statements don't show what states my exempt interest dividends are from. How can I determine this?

You need to go to the Edward Jones website and access their tax information center. You should find there tax information that lists which states percent dividends are tax free. You multiply  the dividend by the per cent to get the $  amount that is tax free. 

you can't. You'll have to contact them to see if they can provide the info. Even if you know the state(s), you may also need to know the specific obligation because certain states do not exempt all their obligations from taxation
