My daughter turned 24 in Novemeber 2016 - she is still a full-time student and was all of 2016

Why is it telling me she doesn't qualify as a dependent even if she did make more than 4050. in 2016?

Since she turned 24 in 2016, she is now subject to the limit of earning less than $4050 for you to claim her as a dependent, even if she was still a student.  Sorry.
