My daughter is 21 and a full time student. she works as well. she only lived with me 3 months out of the year. can she claim herself

Yes, she can claim herself but it may be more beneficial (more money back) for you to claim her, if she qualifies as your dependent.

The IRS allows temporary absences from home so dependents may attend college out of city, state or county.
