My copy of Turbo Tax 2018 H&B keeps crashing on Windows 10.

My copy of Turbo Tax 2018 H&B keeps crashing on Windows 10.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled it without firewall or virus protection active.  I have also run the manual update.  The program crashes at all different states.  Sometime is just crashes when I try to save.  I am really frustrated as I have never had a program crash this often.

My post about Turbo Tax crashing on Windows 10 was deleted or "archived".  Hope yours gets better attention.  I just updated my copy, started using the program and it crashed.  I will think twice and three times about using this software next year.

I just did the same thing, after 40 mins with TT specialist and new upload. Crashed 10 mins later.

I am not getting an error.  It just crashes over and over again no matter what I am doing in the program.  I am having no other system issues or issues with other programs.

I do understand, it still has to do with the issue that we are currently investigating. Did you sign up?

This is insane. The version prior to the most recent auto-update did not do this. Can we roll back to prior version?

You should give all Windows 10 users free use of the online interface.   I used it last year and it worked fine.

I did sign up for notifications of updates.  Right now the software is useless. It crashes at such random times no matter what I am doing.  I can't even save it half the time so even if I can enter data I loose it.

This software is unusable.  Constant crashing, mostly in the Income section.  Been using Turbotax for 20+ years (Quickbooks as well), but if this is not fixed within a week or so you have lost me as a customer.

Just signed up. Crashes often when opening a 1099 or saving. Reinstalled from original disk and did updates. Still crashes. Been using Turbotax for 25 years and I never remember it ever crashing.

Any update on this? I imported my tax2018 file from the web to the Windows desktop version, it just crashes at the smart check, 100% of the time

These are my taxes - they're important. Given the errors (crashes often) and inconsistencies in produced documents (you fill out incorrectly or given incorrect information on schedule-C and 8889 at the least) I feel like I have to pay for the audit assistance. That's a very innovative business model you have but I don't really like it.

Has ANY PERSON on this thread received an actual answer or solution ???

I didn't have this problem last year - or even two months ago when I had to prepare some prior year returns - but I am doing one now and it's crashed OVER 100 times on me.

I seems to do it only at the Wage & Salaries section.  I've tried to Visit All and I'll pick what I want to work on - and it CRASHES !!!  I am EXTREMELY frustrated - especially when I finds threads that is seems NO ONE has been answered on or given a solutions !

Below are Snip Its of the problem details.  Hopefully someone can HELP !!!

Also - I'm on Windows 7.
