My Childs Grandparents had temporary custody. I then became custodial parent. Son lived them majority of time Jan to Jun. And then I had him majority of time Jun to Dec.

Grand parents had Temp custody Jan to June with me having some overnight visits. After July and August I had him majority of time. September I became Primary parent in court. His mother then got supervised visits with grandparents at their house 3 nights a week. Does mothers visits with grandparents count towards their 6 month time period? Can I claim him as custodial parent?

So, your parents had temporary custody through the state and want to claim your child? Sorry, my son was gone for 11 months with my parents, I didn't lose FULL custody therefore that child is still mine and I claim him. My parents tried that with me and the courts said NO, it's not your child and that the grandparents took my son in willingly ... Kills me with how these grandparents wanna snatch your kids for some money.
