My child is 16 and attends job corps, can I still claim him as a dependent

He started attending job corps in April 2016 but comes home during winter and summer break.

Being away at school is considered a "temporary absence" so you can claim your 16 year old as a dependent.

what about a 23 year child that does not work going job corp
