My capital gain distributions on a brokerage tax reporting statement do not appear to be shown in Turbotax under income. Where would they be shown?

They get input on your dividend screen, but capital gains distributions show up on line 13 of your Form 1040 or line 10 of your Form 1040A.

To look at your form:

1. Go to Tax Tools on the left-hand side.

2. Go to Tools.

3. Go to View Tax Summary.

4. Click Preview my 1040 from the left-hand side.
