My calculated refund is more that what I paid the IRS. How is that possible? Are they going to pay me more than what I paid in?

Does the credit carry over to next year if I have more income next year?

Yes, many people receive a Refund from the IRS of more than they paid in.  Yes, they will pay you that amount if it is correct.

Look over your return carefully.  You must have qualified for Credits that increased your Refund.

In the Efile section, you will have an option to apply all or part of your Refund to next year's taxes.
