My 22 yr old received an unemployment/stimulus check last May ($4k) but then Unemp. office said she has to repay it (dont know why). How does she show that on her taxes?

I have more details if you would like to know more.
Thanks for your help.

Did she actually repay it in 2020?  If so, did she receive a 1099-G that reflects the repayment?

No not yet.  She is just trying to keep up with rent.

I live in WA state, filed an extension for my 22 year old's federal taxes. Do I need to file an extension for state taxes too? The WA State website is unclear.

Washington state does not have a personal income tax so there is not an extension needed for Washington.

No extension is required for Washington state since Washington state does not have a personal or corporate income tax
