My 19 yr old son shows nondependent on my taxes can I file him as his own dependent when I file his taxes or do I have to remove him from mine 1st.

I am working on my taxes then I am going to work on my adult sons. He is 19 and lives at home still. Not a student. Shows as a nondependent on my taxes as I am filling them out. Can I file him as his own dependent when I file his taxes, or do I have to remove him from mine entirely?

You should remove him from your taxes if you can't claim him as a dependent. There's no reason for his information to be associated with your return if you aren't claiming him, and removing him will prevent any errors.
