My 16 yr old had a summer job bringing in $2000 on a W2, Does she need to file her own tax return or can I piggy back my return?

You do NOT enter the child's earned income from wages reported on W-2 on your tax return.

The child can file their own tax return to get any taxes withheld refunded.  If the child does file a return then make double sure that they indicate on their tax return that they can be claimed as a dependent.
