Multiple years form 8606

I have multiple years of form 8606 to amend and 1 year of missing 8606 to file (None has 1040 impacts). Can I send in all those years forms (missing + amendment) in one envelop with a cover letter, or each year need to be in separate envelop ?

What is the IRS address to send in ?

Also, found 2016, 2017 and 2018 forms has an box beside the name area to check "if this is an amended return, check here ->". But the other years doesn't have this check box. Any one knows if this box is when1040 is also impacted so to check this box ?

Thanks

If you are sending an Amended Return with Form 8606, the address to send the 1040X should be in your Filing Instructions.

If you are sending stand-alone 8606's you can send them to the same address you would send Form 1040.

On the actual PDF of Form 1040X, I don't see the checkboxes you are referring to.  That may have been a TurboTax thing, that was changed in 2019.
