I'm getting the activation request each time I open or update the program. I am not sure which action actually triggers this as I wasn't paying attention.
Not sure if there is current information on this issue and sorry for the post if there is a solution that I have not been able to find. I did run across various potential fixes that seem to be met with approval/disapproval by users and not to eager executing them and finding they didn't work. Especially if the 5 license limit is impacted by unsuccessful attempts.
I've never experienced this before and I have used Turbo tax going back to at least 2006.
Any info would be much appreciated.

Make sure your computer is the same way when you originally installed it. Like with no flash drives plugged in or plugged in if one was. Even a printer plugged in or not. It asked me to activate again so I just closed the program and took out a flash drive that was plugged in and tried again. It worked.
One user had his tax file on another drive and said….. I moved the tax file to C:\Users\myname\Documents\Turbotax and no longer get the activation.
