Mom passed Feb 2024 .Installed 2024 Premier created individual return. Installed 2024 Home & Business to file Estate return but only Premier opens.

why doesn't turbotax allow multiple 2024 versions on the Apple Mac? Why do they all have the same install name? I need both.

The TurboTax Home & Business Edition cannot be used to complete and file a Form 1041, U.S. Income Tax Return for Estates and Trusts.  Return the Home & Business Edition for a refund.

 

Only the TurboTax Business Edition can be used to complete a Form 1041.  The Business Edition can only be installed on a Windows based personal computer.  The Business Edition cannot be used for a personal income tax, Form 1040.
