Mock MFS PA state tax reture-how to fill in the interest and dividends for joint accounts in Federals session?

My husband and I file federal income tax jointly, but will file state tax married separately. I understand that I need to create a mock return to do that. My question is, how do I fill in the 1099 INT and 1099 DIV in Turbotax? Should I stick with the 1099 form figures which are for  joint accounts  and Turbotax will take half of the income to my State tax? Or should I manually divide the 1099 form income into half and fill that in? If I do latter, the numbers will not match the reported 1099 ones. Is that OK? Thanks!

You can enter the amounts for the "mock" Pennsylvania return as appropriate- with the joint account, dividing equally is most appropriate.  It does not matter that it does not match the 1099sl mas you reported it correctly on the federal return you filed.
