minimizing state filing charges for my daughter

I currently file my taxes using turbotax premier with my state return to Massachusetts.  so included in my price is 5 federal returns and 1 state, although I understand there is the state electronic filing fee.    my daughter worked in another state last year, she only had a small w-2 income and nothing else, she is a full time student.  because I need a 2nd state software turbotax is asking for $44.99  then it will be I'm assuming the $19.95 electronic filing fee.   there must be a better way?   I did see she could file federal in free edition and then pay $29.99 for state which would include electronic filing fee.  I would like to have digital copies of her returns on my pc for the future.  any suggestions?  thanks steve

She can file her return using the online version as you stated above. After her taxes are complete, you can save a copy of her online tax file to your PC. You can then open it in your desktop software if need be. See directions in link below.

How do I save my 2017 TurboTax online return as a tax data file?
