MAX Defend Is preventing me from filing - Foreign Residence

I'm using deluxe online, I have already paid and have gotten to the point where I can save and file my return.   There is a major issue.   It won't let me proceed until Max Defend (I've already paid for it) is configured with a State and Zip. 
 
I don't live in the US so I don't have a state/zip.   This was clear in my configuration and my proper foreign information is in My Info.   So I've paid for everything but can't file.   Super unhappy that something as fun as doing taxes is delayed with this bug.
 
Oops, it looks like we're missing some of your personal information like state and zip
You can go back to My Info and add that information now.

I've also encountered this. Purchasing Max and living outside the US breaks the system and support can't help you (no refunds or removals of paid features). 

 

They can only offer:

 

1. Add a US address

2. Manually print and paper file

I did find a workaround. You have to add a US address, pay, and then change back to your foreign address; details:
