Lyft driver made under $600. Did not receive 1099-K or 1099-MISC. I only have 2018 Summary.

I did not make enough money to get a Federal 2018 - 1099-K or 1099-MISC from lyft. What do I do with Summary they gave me? Do i have to enter anything?

If you are required to file a tax return this year, then you are required to report this income.

Follow the directions below to enter your income from your Lyft Tax Summary:

  1. After you sign in to your TurboTax account, select the Take me to my return button.
  2. Search for schedule c and select the Jump to link.
  3. Answer the questions regarding your work with Lyft.
  4. When asked to enter your income: Under Other self-employed income – Select and enter your Gross Earnings amount from your Lyft Tax Summary.

Please view the TurboTax FAQ below for more information about filing Lyft income and expenses.
