It looks like the desktop software is trying to force me to pay out of my refund instead of letting me pay by credit card. Intuit turbo tax has a problem in the software that needs to be fixed. I have used this software for years but will consider another one next year. I have tried all of the suggested fixes for this problem and I keep getting "Unable to sign in to tubotax cloud. Please check sign in" or it just spins.
You are offered to pay for the state e-file charge either with a credit card or use your federal tax refund to pay the fees. All you have to do is click on the
Pay with Credit Card
button. That's it...
I have tried this several times and it does not work. I get this message:

Try these troubleshooting steps:
Check your Internet connection. If you continue to have trouble, try exiting the program and logging back in. Try changing browsers (Chrome usually works well).
