Limit on the number of returns per software package

I stated a return using my turbotax 2019 Home and business package.  I wanted to transfer the data file to a deluxe package on my friends computer to send.  By sending the return on the other computer will it impact on the number of returns (5) that I can send on my Home and business package.

No, you can paper file as many federal returns as you want using the CD/Download software, however, only five (5) of those can be e-filed per IRS regulations.  Since you are not e-filing the return using your software, it does not count as filing on your software.  It will affect your friend's number.
